About the Club

Preserving the legacy of American glassmaking for over half a century.

Our Mission

"To study, preserve, and celebrate the extraordinary artistry of glassware produced by the Westmoreland Glass Company, ensuring that a century of American craftsmanship endures for generations to come."

The National Westmoreland Glass Collectors' Club is a nonprofit organization founded in 1969. Our members have worked tirelessly to document patterns, identify markings, research production records, and preserve the rich history of one of America's most beloved glass manufacturers.

A Legacy of Craftsmanship

The Westmoreland Glass Company

Established in 1889 in Grapeville, Pennsylvania, the Westmoreland Glass Company produced an extraordinary range of glassware over nearly a century of operation. From utilitarian containers to exquisite hand-painted milk glass, colored glass, and crystal pieces, each item is treasured by collectors to this day.

At its peak during the 1920s through the 1940s, Westmoreland was one of the most prolific and innovative glass manufacturers in the United States, known for its intricate patterns, superior craftsmanship, and distinctive style.
